Submitting a claim, researching the status of a pending payment, trying to secure information or approval for an upcoming medical procedure, appealing a denial - each of these can be more aggravating than the next.
iCARE4U relies on Dr. Cohen's considerable experience and expertise to assist patients in this area. It is far from a perfect science—and there's not always an easy explanation or indicated course of action for each situation—but it is part of the role of the patient advocate to provide assistance on an "as needed" basis.
